Tip: Use the Inspector in Finder
You know how you can choose Get Info to see detailed information about the items you’ve selected in Finder?

That works great for one item, but if you want to Get Info on many items, one after the other, that means opening and closing a lot of Get Info windows.
There’s a better way: use the Inspector. Unlike the Get Info window, which displays the information for one item only, the Inspector changes dynamically to reflect the current Finder selection.
To show the Inspector:
When you hold the Option key down, you’ll see the menu item change from Get Info to Show Inspector:

Choose Show Inspector and you’ll see a window that like looks almost identical to a Get Info window. But notice that the Inspector has a different window title bar and a smaller shadow.

Select a different item in Finder, and the Inspector updates to display the information for the newly selected item. Many items, one window.
